About Us

JUSA provides current and retired Jewish Law Enforcement officers of the state of Maryland which include Military, Police, Fire and Public Safety, with religious educational and social support and activities, in connection with the observance of Jewish tradition.

JUSA also offers Jewish Sensitivity Training Workshops to law enforcement professionals and members of the armed forces.

Veterans Services

The transition from military to civilian life can be challenging. JUSA offers Spiritual Support and Counseling for Veterans.
JUSA also partners with local businesses to help veterans train and get back into the workforce.

We have recently launched the Veterans Family Assistance Fund to help Veterans and their families. The Veterans Families Assistance Fund provides financial support to servicemembers and their families as well as Veterans and their families when they experience financial hardship. If you know of a family that needs help please let us know.

Sensitivity Training

In order for law enforcement officers to be sensitive to the religious customs and needs of the Jewish population, they need to be aware of the beliefs and customs relating to the everyday life in the Jewish community. Many times, miscommunication due to lack of knowledge on behalf of the law enforcement officers have led to uncomfortable situations and unnecessary stress which could easily be avoided.
This interactive workshop will give the officers an understanding of the needs of the Jewish population.

For more information or to schedule a workshop, please contact us through the form below.
